Getting Started

Welcome to MailNinja! This guide will help you get started with the add-on and unlock powerful sales automation features directly in Google Sheets.

Installation​

  1. Install from Google Workspace Marketplace

    • Visit the MailNinja add-on page
    • Click "Install" to add MailNinja to your Google Sheets
    • Grant the necessary permissions when prompted

  2. Open the Add-on

    • Open any Google Sheet
    • Go to Extensions → MailNinja in the menu bar
    • You'll see various features available

  3. Activate Your Subscription

    • Go to Extensions → MailNinja → Subscription
    • Choose a plan and enter your license key (received via email after purchase)
    • Or start exploring with the free tier

Quick Start: LinkedIn Prospecting​

Let's try your first feature - finding LinkedIn profiles!

Example 1: Find a Single LinkedIn Profile​

  1. In any cell, type: 
    =LINKEDIN_PROFILE_URL("Bill Gates")
  2. Press Enter - MailNinja will find Bill Gates' LinkedIn profile URL

Example 2: Search for Multiple Prospects​

  1. In any cell, type: 
    =LINKEDIN_SEARCH("sales managers at fintech companies in Singapore", 10, TRUE, TRUE)
  2. Press Enter - You'll get a table with 10 LinkedIn profiles matching your search

Understanding Credits​

MailNinja uses a credit-based system. Different features consume different amounts of credits:

  • Exa: 2 credits
  • Hunter: 20 credits
  • OpenAI: 1 credit
  • Perplexity: 2 credits
  • Neverbounce: 4 credits
  • Mail Merge: 1 credit

Choose a plan that fits your monthly usage. Check your current usage anytime in the Subscription dialog.
